As you would imagine we sell lots of our wipe clean tablecloths to cafes, coffee shops and tea rooms. One of the most asked questions we get is 'which tablecloth is best for me?' It's always a difficult question to answer as there are so many determining factors. The first question you should ask yourself is "what is my budget?" Oilcloth and acrylic wipe clean tablecloths are more expensive than PVC Vinyl due to the fact they are made from cotton with either a PVC laminate or a Teflon coat. Second thing to ask yourself is "what design do I want?" Whether you are looking for a shabby chic floral design or a vibrant PVC Vinyl this can also determine whether you are looking for an Oilcloth, Acrylic or PVC Vinyl as not all designs are available across oilcloth, acrylic and PVC Vinyl.

The next thing to look at is how much use will your wipe clean tablecloths get. Oilcloths if looked after are thicker so can be more hard wearing but like anything this is dependent on how the cloth is cared for. Another question we are asked a lot is "can I leave my wipeable tablecloth outside?" In a nutshell, yes you can however most of our cloths are water resistant (not waterproof) so if you can avoid leaving them out in rain, snow, frost then they are more likely to last longer.

Next is "will my tablecloths slide around the table?" As a rule, no but to make sure there are a few things you can do. First is to simply add a feature in the middle of the table such as a flower pot or salt and pepper pots. Tablecloth clips are popular with cafe owners as they are cheap and hold the cloth solid on the table, particularly popular for outside tables. Another handy tip to secure your table is to use double sided Velcro which works really well.
